   Hi  everyone          Why the the address in linker file is different phycial address?

 I have a question about memory map .
 There have Defined as follow In .PRM file
 SGMENTS
 ………….
 ………….
…………
PAGE_0E       = READ_ONLY   0x0E8000 TO 0x0EBFFF;
END
Mean that the PAGE_0E is read only and its address is from 0x0E8000 to 0x0EBFFF. But when look up datasheet of MC9S128P find that the address of PAGE_0E is from 0x38000 to 0x3c000.

   The PAGE_OE In .PRM file is used Local Memory(FLASH Memory),but the  PAGE_0E(from 0x38000 to 0x3c000) used Global Memory,so they are useing the same address.You can see the  datasheet of MC9S128P and find page of 116.On this page, you can see about Local to Global Address Mapping.

  But  the max address of Lcal Memory is 0xFFFF  ,is it?
   IN.PRM file   PAGE_0E  = READ_ONLY   0x0E8000 TO 0x0EBFFF;

On the 112th page,you can find the PPAGE Register,you will Know of what to define the PAGE_0E size is form 0x0E8000 to  0x0EBFFF.
