The LPC84x MCU Family – A versatile, entry-level MCU family with a ‘Swiss Army® knife’ offering of features for your next IoT design Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M0+ core, the LPC84x MCU family is a low-cost, 32-bit family operating at frequencies of up to 30 MHz. To elaborate on the versatility of this family, we've invited Kevin Townsend, Lead Engineer, Adafruit Industries, who will go into more detail on its key features and demonstrate how to leverage each with a live demo – a multi-tool (aka Swiss Army® knife) tester that will prove to be a critical device in every embedded designers toolbox. Exploring how the mixed-signal feature can X; highlighting the voltmeter, oscilloscope, waveform generator and continuity tester. Part IIWed, Oct 25 @ 10 a.m. CDTHow to build portion B of the X application. Exploring how digital and HMI features can X; highlighting the I2C scanner, SPI OLED display, capacitive touch buttons, and how to use the SCT to implement a rotary encoder controller. Part III Wed, Nov 8 @ 10 a.m. CDTA robust ecosystem of enablement. How the ‘Swiss army knife’ was developed leveraging NXP’s MCUXpresso IDE with LPC845 and the code bundles to X.
